Under the label hs engineers Dr.-Ing. Helmut Schlueter VDI continues the line of special measurement techniques former well-kept at MesSen Nord GmbH. This line is known in particular by the successful inductive current meters and directionional wave probes ISM-2000. The engineering office guarantees continuity of this field by product care and further developments. Current examples for this are the affordable analog current meters ISM-2001 and the multi-parameter probes and data loggers of Series 2001.
In addition, customer-specific solutions are elaborated with the background of long-standing experiences in the development and application of measurement technology in oceanology, hydrology and water sciences - experiences both from the viewpoint of the developer as well as from that of the user.
Further, hs engineers deals with services related to the application of environmental measurement technology: Service to complete measuring stations and measuring nets including the check of technique on site up to the preparation, archiving and presentation of the gathered data. A larger project of this kind was the "Internal Measuring Net Coast Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (IMK)" of the local authorities. Current data and a short resume can be found here.
The lab as well as the office of hs engineers are now under one roof in the small village Lichtenhagen near to the city of Rostock wich is famos for the largest German port at the Baltic Sea side.
The required measuring and test tools, partially as fully-automatic calibrating equipment are available there for the development and service of the devices. Both for the hardware- and the software development modern CAE-methods are in use.
